Wallpapering Fog uses Google Analytics cookies to track visitors for the purposes of massaging the ego of the bloke who writes all these posts.
But that's not the sinister bit.
Every 100th visitor is identified personally by their cookies and followed home after work, so that we can break in through the kitchen window in the early hours of the morning and try any real cookies residing in their biscuit tin.
Cookies on your computer are just like the ones in biscuit tins, only they last longer.
Don't worry, it's all perfectly legal. You can get away with anything if you put in the Ts & Cs, I know because I read it in a marketing blog.
For a more sensible post on the EU and its cookie laws, try this one.
